JOANN Fabric - Very Disappointed with Joann's Fabrics

New ReviewerReally disappointed when shopping at Joann's today. I was waiting to have fabric cut however the clerk was busy cleaning.
I asked is there someone who can assist with cutting the fabric? She said she needed to clean which was taking bolts of fabric straighten them and put them in the bins. By this time there was 7 people in line and only one person cutting fabric. I asked for a manager who never showed up.
I was told by the lady that finally did cut my fabric the manager was at a cash register so I went to him specifically when I checked out. He was clear it was more important for the clerk to clean and the customers should wait. I was shocked. I said it would have been nice if the clerk would say I will be with you in a minute or 5 minutes or somehow acknowledge the line of customers waiting.
The manager at least agreed with that. I again said to him after my 40 years of working with the public I find it hard to think you want the clerk to clean and not cut the fabric for the customers. Why can they not put away the fabric during the down time. I was thinking it is not very likely there is a line from the time the door opens to the time the door closes every evening.
I know there is not as I shop there a lot. Now with the great shopping on line I have many other choices and I am not thinking Joann's will be one.
Reason of review: Poor customer service.
Preferred solution: Customer Service- the Customer needs to be the #1 priority 100% of the time.
