I've become more annoyed with JOANN because no matter what location I go to, every time I go to check out the cashier asks me if I want to buy scissors that are on sale or candles on clearance or even remnants. If I want scissors, I'll buy scissors.

If I want a candle, I'll buy a candle. If I want remnants, I'll buy remnants.

Stores forcing their employees to do this makes me glad that online shopping and self-checkout registers exist.

Also, apparently by the end of the year the coupons that come with the ad you get in the mail are going to be discontinued in favor of the coupons that are on the JOANN app (as well as e-mail and text). I think this is going to backfire badly, mostly because many of their customers are either older people who are fine with having a flip phone or the Amish who don't have cell phones for obvious reasons.
