JOANN Fabric - Lost my business
I have ordered or shopped at Joann’s for years. I recently placed an order for yarn, as it was a good price and I have lots of projects coming up.
The total was $131.62. I saw the pending transaction in my bank account, as usual. The big difference was that the next day I also saw a completed transaction with them for the same amount. This was not instead of the pending transaction, but in addition to it.
For some, this could cause a big problem with their bank account. Fortunately, I had the funds to cover both and avoid an overdraft. I have had my times for three days now, and they have had my money, but the pending transaction is STILL on my bank account.
When I called customer service, their reply was “it will take at least 5 business days.” Sorry, but that is unacceptable. I will no longer be doing business there.
