Fro twice already, when there's a sale on the designer paper-crafting and stamping/stamping supplies, I see confusing promotion in stores. The promos are 25% off designer paper-crafting collection (like Tim Holtz) and 40% off stamping/stamping supplies. At 1 location, Tim Holz (TH) alcohol ink is on sale for 25% off, At another location, less than 10 miles away, that same alcohol ink is on 40% off.

I told the cashiers about this situation. They said it's what programmed in the cash registers and they can't help me.

Same product, different location, different discount. Why?

At one location, the 40% off promo signage posted at the end cap where Tim Holtz alcohol ink, distress markers, distress crayons, etc are stored. There is no other signage. I picked up a package of distress markers thinking it is 40% off but to find out at the register that it is on 25% off. I told the employee that the sign said 40% off. He said not all items at the end cap are stamping/stamping supplies. Then why are items not part of that promotion at that end cap? Why isn't there another signage?

The signs state specifically what’s on sale. Unfortunately when you have more that one type of thing on the end cap one sign might not apply to things.

Confusing? Yes!

I’m sure the products rang up as 40% from different locations, the signage just confused you. Usually if you tell the cashier they will give you the lower price under those circumstances.
